Day fifty-four Feb 24th

Today is a twofer. Two pictures fer one. The first is a picture of the college I'm going to start soon. Today was the day I went in to talk with the adviser on my degree.

The second is a picture is us going out to eat. What a fun day it was.

Day fifty three Feb 23

This is what I like to do best on a Saturday morning, sit in bed, drinking coffee and snuggle with my man.

Today is Feb 22nd and I still have some of my Christmas stuff up. Sometimes I forget I have stuff up and then it sits till I'm tired of it.

Yum, today we had these amazing turkey wrap things. I got to make it, wrap it and cut it. Here is one of the finished products. They were so good.

Day fifty Feb 20th

One of the things I get to do at the school is write on the reader board thing. Strangely, it's one of my favorite things to do. I just wish I had better handwriting.

Day forty-nine Feb 19th

I'm finally able to serve the Pumpkin bread. I had to spread the whip topping on it and sprinkle some cinnamon over the top then cut it. However, I didn't cut the first batch correctly so some of the pieces were strange. Not too bad for my first try.

I had to stop in at the Albertsons in Sherwood to use the potty. This was the lock they had on the stall door. You can see the size of the original lock underneath it. This lock was HUGE! Nobody was getting in this stall. 

Day Forty-five Feb 15

Larry and I went out on a after Valentines Day dinner. We wanted to go to Red Lobster and the one in Tigard was finally open. We got there around 6pm on Saturday and there was a two hour wait. We wanted to eat here so bad we just waited. When we finally got seated it was another hour before we got our food. It was a long night but well worth it.

Day forty-four Feb 14

This was what was for dinner on Valentines Day. Bekah made it and it was delicious! It was called something like "Won't be Single for Long"

Day Forty-three Feb 13

This is my messy bed but the reason I'm posting the picture is because we got a new-to-us mattress. The old one we had was years and years old. This new one is so nice. I do think I get a better sleep.

Day Forty-one Feb 10th

 I'm pretty sure this is the last measurement I got before the snow started melting. For us, that's a whole crapload of snow.

The kids decided to make a snowman late on Monday night. There was no school again that day and I guess they wanted to get some play time in before going back. I'm naming the snowgal Chesty LaRue or maybe we should go with Hooty McBoober!. Either way, it totally cracks me up they made her "womenly."

The last pic is the reason I HATE snow. it's messy and dirty and a real pain in the ass. I was suppose to go to meet with my adviser at college today but they cancelled school. Snow=cancelled events.

Day Forty Feb 09

These are some of my favorite pictures of the snow. They are animal prints that I got from the snow drifts that went onto the Martins carport. It just warms my heart to know that some little creatures walked the same place I walked. I know, I'm strange. At this point the bear is all covered.

Day Thirty-nine Feb 08

I usually leave a heat lamp on for the bunnies during the winter. They sure appreciated it these days. I couldn't understand why they had these dark patches on there fur until I realized they were burning there fur on the lamp by being too close. Dumb bunnies.

The little bear only has a tiny hole to peek out of now. It's been snowing off and on for two days now. We made it into town to pick up Grace but it was slow going. Again, Rosie, drove like a beast!

Day Thirty-eight

So here is day two of the snow. I really hate snow but I do like it a little when it's falling or when it's dark out. Today is Friday and everyone has the day off school except Larry, of course. We took a trip into town to drop Grace off at a friends and driving was slow going. Larry got Rosie, our GMC van running and it drives great in the snow so Larry drove like a champ. Of course, the second we didn't have snow, Rosie died again. The poor little bear is almost covered up.

Day Thirty-seven

Feb 06: The first night of snow. It started while I was at work around 10amish. I watched it snow all morning. The kids at school were amped, to say the least. I got a text from Ben around 11 telling me Mac school had been cancelled. Our school didn't cancel until right before third lunch so around 12:05. We finished up in the kitchen and I made my way home at my normal time. I was driving the Saturn and I had a heck of a time getting home. The streets in Newberg were bad but once I passed the honey house it was a little more clear. Larry went on to work that night.

This picture is of the little bear we have on our porch. I'm sure the picture was taken late at night so this was the accumulation for the day.

Day Thirty-six

Only the cutest little girl in the world...well, one of them at least. This is Annabelle, our niece. Bekah and Abby babysit her occasionally.

Day Thirty-five

Chloe has decided to join the circus and be a walker on top of the turtle tank. Something Jon and Viki discourage as the turtle will bite her and the water contains Salmonella.

Day Thirty-four

These are pictures of the little ala carte area I worked at at Chehelam Valley school. I serve hot food, chips, ice cream, juice, and other snacky stuff. I work all by myself. This position is now open again and I'm pretty sure I'm going to apply for it if no other district employees apply.

Our rockin' Super Bowl party. You can see we are all so excited. I love the mattresses in the background. We got them from a friend but hadn't switched them out yet.

I think the only reason my girls go to church is so they can spend time with the little kids afterward. This little one is especially cute.

Day Twenty-nine

This was one of those days I just couldn't pick one. We had a great time this day. Bekah, Abby and I went to Salem for Abby's hair cut and for a shopping trip.

We wandered in to Victoria Secrets and found the free sample make-up. Needless to say, we tried most all of what was there. The sales lady finally came over to "clean up" but I could tell she was watching us.

Bekah laid her head on my shoulder while we were watching TV today. It was the best!!!

Sadly, this is the best picture I have for this day. We celebrated Larry's birthday and when it was time for blowing out the candles my camera died. So this is a decent picture of the cake and candle but not of Larry.
